The Movie has been in the works for quite some time already and considering the recent political and financial American predicament, well there should be a treasure trove of information for the writers to dig into. As the movie is directly linked to the finances and malpractices of Wall Street.

For those of you that were around at the time of "Greed is good"? Well the "Gordon Gekko" has been resurrected for a sequel to the 1987 Academy Award Winner The Wall Street Movie. Actor Michael Douglas plays the role superbly under the watchful eye of director Oliver Stone. The movie's time-line starts on June 2008, Gekko is finally released from prison after 20 years in the hole. The film is set to take place just before the Wall Street and international financial disaster. The story is centered around his relationship with  his daughter Winnie. Gekko then finds a lot in common with Jacob (Shia LeBeouf) and they investigate the malpractices of wall street 2 set to come out on it's release date on April 23, 2010.
