Scriptwriter Frank Miller has recently finished writing the 300 prequel and is currently giving the final touches to the artwork of the next movie which is supposed to take place 10 years before the battle of 300. It’s the battle of Marathon as pictured by him, so be prepared for another superbly made film with blood and bloody war with Persians and Greeks this time around.
“The fact and the myth are inseparable and, believe me, when you go sailing for a while in the Aegean Sea, you start believing in Poseidon.”
Scriptwriter Frank Miller
Hopefully this won't come out all weird like "The Spirit" because that one was disappointing to a whole lot of people.

300 was visually stunning movie with horribly lacking storyline, you could say just your average fast food film stereotype of "hollowood" messing around with history(not that historian's don't do it all the time). King Leonidas walking and talking with a Scottish accent?
That fresh red apple was just the bomb! In the middle of epic battle...hmmm i'm hungry let's pass around the apples...
When Stelios cried about his son dying I just felt like strangling the wimp for showing weakness (death in battle is the goal of every warrior and an honor).
Apart from that, the visuals and artistic presentation of the whole thing is enough to go see Xerxes's Battle of Marathon.
